We are looking for a detail-oriented junior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The junior accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, preparing state filings and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with US GAAP and company policy and procedures..
  • Assist month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports, statements, and analyses as needed.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual filings for compliance with state government reporting requirements.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Provide support to assigned subsidiaries operation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the manager and director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAPP and IFRS.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem solving, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and committed to a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience with SAP Preferred.
  • English/Korean Bilingual Preferred.
