Job Summary:

As the Global HR Director for Hanwha Vision America (HVA), your strategic vision, expert knowledge, and leadership skills will ensure our HR operations support our employees and business objectives worldwide. You will be at the forefront of creating an engaging an inclusive workplace that values diversity and foster a culture of performance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement Global HR systems such as:
    1. Evaluate the HVA HR Systems, encompassing performance reviews and compensation, and implement necessary revisions for improvement
    2. Assess HR systems that applies to both HQ and HVA, and identify areas requiring revisions for enhancement and improvement
    3. Job analysis such as Job Code, Job Level, etc.
  • Collaborate with HVA HR team to localize global HR system and procedures; aligning with business objectives and driving cultural alignment across regions.
  • Conduct periodic audit of global HR system and implement necessary revision.
  • Assess and execute essential enhancements for HR systems, particularly tailored for C-levels and executives.
  • Address diverse HR issues from the standpoint of an HR Business Partner.
  • Understand the overall HR role and responsibilities in HVA and Innovation Center.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Global HR Director with a strong understanding of HR functions which includes developing and implementing comprehensive global HR system plans.
  • Demonstrated expertise in effectively managing HR operations across diverse countries and regions, encompassing the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Korea, etc.
  • Established success in strategically planning and executing HR systems that align with business objectives, fostering cultural alignment across diverse regions.
  • Excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to influence and engage direct / in direct reports and peers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise and implement strategic solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Must maintain a current SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or be able to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
