Forklift Lead

<b>Essential Job Functions</b><p>The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent <b> may perform some or all </b> of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.<p><ul><li>Train and lead forklift operators to transport finished jobs or goods into correct areas</li><li>Move pallets of goods for jobs in process to appropriate area as needed</li><li>Place finished goods which are on a designated pallet to the correct location</li><li>Perform all functions accurately as required in WMS system</li><li>Reduce errors and safety incidents, assigns forklift operators to specific jobs/feeding lines</li><li>Accurately complete forklift operator's checklist</li><li>Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues</li><li>Confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines</li><li>Conduct a physical inventory of all corrugated materials by performing daily cycle counts</li><li>Perform inventory audits on a daily basis or as needed</li><li>Professional in attitude and performance and leadership of staff</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area</li><li>Verify processes are being followed</li><li>Perform all line clearances and verify for accuracy</li><li>Assign forklift drivers for set ups and daily job tasks</li><li>Assist supervisors on the production floor/warehouse to maintain a safe work environment</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><b>Education &amp; Experience</b><br /><ul><li>Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>Ability to pass certification in order to operate a fork/lift truck</li><li>Stand-up Forklift experience required</li><li>Previous warehouse production experience preferred</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</b><br /><ul><li>Ability to interpret written and oral instructions</li><li>Ability to lead, train and direct a team</li><li>Ability to produce at a high level</li><li>Ability to work with plant management for required results</li><li>Ability to be able to work as part of a team</li><li>Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job</li></ul><p><b>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment</b><br /><ul><li>Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting</li><li>Walking, standing, lifting &amp; bending for duration of shift</li></ul><p>All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
