Production Lead

<b>Essential Job Functions</b><p>The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent <b> may perform some or all </b> of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. <br /><ul><li>Back up to Production Supervisor</li><li>Work in conjunction with the Quality Department for positive production results</li><li>Inspection of the production lines as needed if the job is complex or critical in its design or use</li><li>Knowledge of the rates of the jobs running on the production line</li><li>Responsible for work packets being filled out both correctly and accurately</li><li>Responsible for training production staff</li><li>Perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job</li><li>Conducts and documents quality inspections to meet required customer, company, or industry specifications.</li><li>Print / Coordinate case labels and squid messages for the production lines.</li><li>Manage and appropriately classify reclaim, scrap and damaged product or materials.</li></ul><p><b>Education &amp; Experience</b><br /><ul><li>Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>Minimum 1 year of related experience or training in warehouse production</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</b><br /><ul><li>Ability to lead / supervise large groups of associates</li><li>Understand quality standards, methods and reporting as required</li><li>Good communicator, team player and multi-tasking skills</li><li>Plan in advance for production in your area</li><li>Interpret instructions both oral and written</li><li>Produce at a high level through your staff</li><li>Work with plant management for required results</li><li>Process information and merchandise through computer system</li></ul><p><b>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment</b><br /><ul><li>Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting</li><li>Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift</li><li>Frequent lifting of 25 lbs or more</li></ul><p>All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
