Quality Auditor- A Shift

Essential Functions:

  1. Conduct specific internal quality audits as directed. This includes inspecting finished products, production paperwork and RAW materials being used to produce product.
  2. Report out findings from internal audits to the production teams and follow-up with corrective actions.
  3. Monitor and inspect incoming materials per established material specifications.
  4. Perform inspection tests on product using established test protocols.
  5. Evaluate non-conforming material, disposition properly and complete all required paperwork.
  6. Know the FAI process and sign-off on FAI folders that run during shift.
  7. Understand the quality expectations of various customers.
  8. Assist in the decision making of good vs. non-conforming product.
  9. Perform analytical testing as required and directed by the Quality Manager (Supervisor).
  10. Assist with investigations of customer complaints regarding quality and service.
  11. Assist with preparation for facility audits and product inspections, per customer requirements.
  12. Help update and maintain work instruction/procedures as it relates to facility.
  13. Capable of creating and updating spreadsheets in Excel.
  14. Good Verbal and Written Communication skills.
  15. Must follow GMP guidelines and report any food safety issues to your supervisor
  16. Assist with other product & quality related issues as assigned.

Experience Required
  • 3 - 5 years: 3-5 years work experience
Education Required
  • High School or better
