Hoffmaster Group Inc, an industry leader producing the most complete line of specialty disposable tabletop products for over 70 years, is currently seeking a Plant HR Generalist to support our Creative Converting manufacturing facility in Clintonville, WI. The primary responsibility of the Plant HR Generalist is to provide administrative support in the HR function.

Essential Job Duties :

  • Administers benefit programs including life, health, dental, disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, and employee assistance
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government report regulations
  • Ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with government regulations
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation
  • Processes FMLA, and short-term and long-term disability requests
  • Processes payroll for the Clintonville plant employees on a weekly basis while maintaining accurate attendance, maintaining records, and monitoring accrual balances for vacation
  • Prepares various reports for payroll and incentive programs
  • Provides back-up support for HGI salaried payroll
  • Responds to routine questions from employees and directs them to the proper resource for assistance.

Job Specifications :

  • Associates Degree or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Professional certification by recognized accreditation agency a plus
  • Experience working with Kronos and/or an HRIS is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated with outstanding decision making skills
  • Excellent organizational and good time management skills
  • Proficient using PC and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong leadership, organization, project management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
