Remote work is permitted upon approval; however, you will also be required to work from the on site office as necessary to fulfill your role’s responsibilities.</p><p> </p><br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br /><ul><li><p>Background or experience in analyzing meteorological and oceanographic observations (e.g. winds, atmospheric pressure, temperatures) in the marine environment and identifying observational errors of all types. </p></li><li><p>Familiarity of operating characteristics of automated monitoring systems and the ability to recognize system performance anomalies. </p></li><li><p>Some experience with scientific programming and analysis tools</p></li><li><p>Experience with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products as well as Google Suite applications.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and customer service skills</p></li><li><p>BS Meteorology, Oceanography, or Physical Sciences</p></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>About Lynker</strong></p><p>Lynker is a growing, employee owned, small business, specializing in professional, scientific and technical services.
