About the Job

Alaimo Group is seeking a seasoned Administrative Assistant with a minimum of 5+ years of experience or more to support Engineers, Planners and the Environmental Associate. Engineering, municipal or construction background a plus and preferred. Responsibilities include: Typing of review letters, grading plan reviews, certificate of occupancy recommendations, scanning, and e-mailing to developers and Township Officials, Engineer’s status reports, NJ Permit Applications which include compliance statements, Environmental report, Engineer’s report, create photo document, certified letters to property owners (mail merge), preparing proposals, meeting reports, bid tabulations utilizing Excel, punch lists, Engineer’s estimates, bond estimates, Planner’s reports, typing of Master Plans, Development Plans, Redevelopment Plans, creation of photo documents, internet research for cover pages. Additional duties include office attendance, building maintenance, ordering supplies, assisting staff in document preparation, general office duties: (phones, copying, faxing, assist with binding environmental applications, filing).

Must be proficient in MS Office applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Outlook, and Adobe. Advanced accurate typing and proofreading skills, attention to detail, adept and creative, organized and pragmatic, ability to meet deadlines.
