With a commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation, Lynker leverages cutting-edge technologies and scientific expertise to support the creation and delivery of improved operational weather forecasts.</p><p> </p><p>As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).</p><br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br /><ul><li><p><span>Experience in the design, planning, test, installation and operation of electromechanical systems in the marine environment. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with design/repair/overhaul of marine systems, including hulls, appendages, superstructures, marine ocean structures, mooring, piping, power and cable systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Perform full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture) producing prototype and production drawing packages</span></p></li><li><p><span>Project engineering experience and marine structural design experience. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with AutoCAD, Auto-Desk or similar 3D modeling software.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with dynamic marine systems and/or underwater mooring design a plus</span></p></li><li><p><span>BS in Mechanical, Ocean or Marine Engineering or related Engineering discipline</span></p></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>About Lynker</strong></p><p>Lynker is a growing, employee owned, small business, specializing in professional, scientific and technical services.
