With a commitment to excellence and a passion for innovation, Lynker leverages cutting-edge technologies and scientific expertise to support the creation and delivery of improved operational weather forecasts.</p><p> </p><p>As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental, Health Safety (EHS) and Facilities Manager to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).</p><p> </p><p><strong><u>This position is contingent upon contract award.</u></strong></p><br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><p><strong>Core responsibilities of the EHS/Facilities Manager will include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage a Safety Program for the NDBC facility and field operations</p></li><li><p>Support and maintain records of all EHS inspections, audits and programmatic environmental assessments of the NDBC facilities/operations by NOAA, NASA, OSHA, EPA, or other authorities</p></li><li><p>Establish (as appropriate) and ensure compliance with NOAA/NWS/NASA/USCG/OSHA/EPA/ Corporate ESH policies and procedures as applicable.. Ensure maritime safety protocols are adhered to and proactively managed</p></li><li><p>Maintain the master copy of the Material Safety Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets, review annually, and update with appropriate new NDBC items</p></li><li><p>Ensure all safety training records are 100% compliant, accurate and accessible to the government</p></li><li><p>Provide a quarterly report of Safety Training Plan compliance and summary of reportable safety incidents to include detailed summaries of audit, inspection and review activities and recommendations for safety program process improvements</p></li><li><p>Operate an Environmental Compliance Support program</p></li><li><p>Support development, regular review and maintenance, management, compliance, and records management associated with NDBC's National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Programmatic Environmental Assessment</p></li><li><p>Initiate, maintain and monitor all EPA Manifest records and other generation, transfer, and disposal records and reports to comply with all current environmental regulations</p></li><li><p>Prepare annual summary reports for NDBC waste accumulation, waste stream and recycling required by SSC and NOAA</p></li><li><p>Provide weekly Safety Topics for all NDBC personnel</p></li><li><p>Serve as a point of contact with NASA to report any onsite facilities issues to ensure that facilities tasks are completed without mission interruption and updating facilities requests accordingly</p></li></ul><br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br /><p><strong>Requirements for the EHS/Facilities Manager:</strong></p><p>Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience -OR- 8 total years of relevant experience</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>About Lynker</strong></p><p>Lynker is a growing, employee owned, small business, specializing in professional, scientific and technical services.
