<strong>Summary:</strong><br><ul><li>Supervises, coordinates, and oversees the technical activities of the department(s).</li><li>Responsible for financial, human resource and quality management activities of the department.</li><li>Serves as primary liaison for lab to the campus OMG.</li></ul><br><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Supervises all technical operations of the Laboratory and non-hospital outreach clients serviced through their department/location.</li><li>Responsible for compliance of all operations to appropriate regulatory and accreditation agencies.</li><li>Monitors financial performance through finance reports, adjusts operations to meet financial targets and operationalizes process and technology changes for greater efficiency.</li><li>Manages staff by monitoring technical competencies and nurtures behavioral development through enforcement of STAR standards.</li></ul><br><strong>Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:</strong><br><ul><li>Must have a good general knowledge of laboratory technology in all disciplines and familiarity with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Good organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary.</li><li>Must be able to develop and understand budget and statistical records related to their laboratory's operation.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of management experience is preferred.</li></ul><br><strong>Compensation</strong>:<br><br>$105,000 to $165,000/year.<br><br>Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.<br><br>Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
