The role requires organizing, planning, and supervising IT projects which includes budget management, communication with stakeholders, and adherence to strict timelines. The project manager should have expertise in the software development lifecycle, project management methodologies, and managing technical resources. The job also involves outlining project plans and timelines, ensuring that the project is on track, identifying and mitigating risks, and updating project documentation. The Sr. IT project manager must communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical professionals, vendors, and managers. They should also be able to track quality metrics and use data to make informed decisions.<br><br>A degree in computer science, business administration, or related field is required for this role, along with relevant experience managing projects in the government public sector domain. Experience in either Health and Human Services, Department of Public Health, Department of Public Safety, or other government entities is required.<br><br>Skills and Qualifications:<br><br>Minimum of 7+ years' experience as a Project Manager with a PMP Certification<br>&bull;Proficiency with industry-standard project manager tools and software<br><br>Proficiency with MS Project<br><br>Experience with client management and internal departmental communications.<br><br>Proven track record of successful project management<br><br>Strong technical background in public sector industry<br><br>Strong written and verbal communication skills<br><br>General understanding of development methodologies and consulting best practices<br>&bull;xFact Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
