BASIC FUNCTION:<br><ul><li>Function as a lead member of the CPS Quality Assurance Team in supporting CPS Operations to ensure that our products always meet the requirements of our customers</li></ul><br>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<br><ul><li>Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements</li><li>Competence in applying fundamental quality tools (i.e., 5-Why, Ishikawa, 8D)</li><li>Experience in compiling, formatting, analyzing, and presenting data</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work safely and follow all established health, safety & environmental policies, practices, and procedures</li></ul><br>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br><ul><li>Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively to prevent compromising product quality and on-time delivery to CPS Customers</li><li>Lead cross-functional Teams in the application of quality tools to define problems, initiate containment actions, identify root cause(s) and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurrence</li><li>Plan and lead the execution of internal audits to maintain compliance of the CPS Quality Management System to ISO 9001 requirements</li><li>Participate in Customer / External / third party audits and assessments</li><li>Work with CPS Purchasing in the monitoring & reporting of external provider quality and on-time delivery performance</li><li>Issue & drive the timely response to and closure of Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR)</li><li>Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators and metrics including product yield, on-time delivery, product defect categories, etc.</li><li>Ensure all quality monitoring and measuring devices are properly maintained and calibrated within established frequencies</li><li>Support the development and introduction of new products or changes to existing products to enhance manufacturability and reduce waste</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><br>SUPERVISION RECEIVED:<br><ul><li>Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager</li></ul><br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Technical discipline</li><li>Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within an ISO9001 manufacturing environment</li><li>Familiarity with SAP, M2M, QT9 or other ERP Systems</li><li>Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus</li><li>ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus</li><li>Understanding of AS 9100 Quality Management System requirements is a plus</li></ul><br>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:<br><ul><li>Able to work safely within a manufacturing environment</li></ul><br>PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:<br><ul><li>Potential for advancement into Supervisory or Management roles within CPS</li></ul>
