Responsible for providing support for the following Quality tasks and duties: introduction and launching of new or improved products and processes into the plant. Lead problem-solving teams. Facilitate from a Quality & Quality Engineering and Plant perspective the launching of new or improved products/processes.

Job Description: This person will have the following responsibilities:

Ø Train quality Inspectors as needed on accept / reject criteria.

Ø Interface with customers and vendors on all quality issues.

o Issue RMAs as needed.

o Track customer rejected material and how it is dispositioned and returned.

Ø Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance regarding product quality issues and how best they are to be resolved.

Ø Act as the final disposition on MRB throughout the plant

Ø Manage source inspection for all customers as needed.

Ø Review all customer purchase orders and specifications for quality requirements.

o Develop QR-102 forms that support those quality requirements.

Ø Work on R & D projects as needed.

Ø Understand and maintain the QMS requirements as required by the Quality Assurance / Engineering Depts.

Education - BS/BA from an accredited university; MS preferred.

Experience - Ten plus years progressive experience in Quality Engineering.

Skills - Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills required. Must be able to travel, have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and be a team player.

Language Skills: Ability to read and understand, business correspondence as it relates to the job function, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Sinclair personnel.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with advanced mathematical concepts. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
