Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members, and contribute to the growth and development of our clinical team.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information.
