Job Summary

  • Rooming patients, vitals, medications and rapid testing.
  • Performs ordering, document management and scheduling.
  • Provides general care and education to patients.

General Accountabilities

  • Records and reports symptoms.
  • Medication Reconciliation
  • Assists with procedures.
  • Coordinates visits and paperwork for patient/doctor visits.
  • Prepares exam and treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Dressing changes and suture removal
  • Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments
  • Reviews patient charts and records essential information including medical past and history, reactions, treatments, etc.
  • Maintains inventory and stock of clinical and medicinal supplies.
  • Educates patient on current health issues.
  • Practices safety and health code standards.
  • Performs jobs assigned by supervisors as directed.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Vocational, technical nursing training
  • Minimum Experience: 0-6 Months
  • Minimum Field of Expertise: LPN licensure
  • Phlebotomy Experience: a plus but not required
  • Ability to use EMR, Web Browser, MS Office.
  • Experience with eClinicalworks valuable.
