Job Summary
- Rooming patients, vitals, medications and rapid testing.
- Performs ordering, document management and scheduling.
- Provides general care and education to patients.
General Accountabilities
- Records and reports symptoms.
- Medication Reconciliation
- Assists with procedures.
- Coordinates visits and paperwork for patient/doctor visits.
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Dressing changes and suture removal
- Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments
- Reviews patient charts and records essential information including medical past and history, reactions, treatments, etc.
- Maintains inventory and stock of clinical and medicinal supplies.
- Educates patient on current health issues.
- Practices safety and health code standards.
- Performs jobs assigned by supervisors as directed.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Vocational, technical nursing training
- Minimum Experience: 0-6 Months
- Minimum Field of Expertise: LPN licensure
- Phlebotomy Experience: a plus but not required
- Ability to use EMR, Web Browser, MS Office.
- Experience with eClinicalworks valuable.
