Join our IT Quality Engineering team, responsible for implementing sophisticated testing tools and solutions to qualify a suite of business applications and deliver high quality experience to our customers<br /></p><p>MathWorks nurtures growth, appreciates diversity, encourages initiative, values teamwork, shares success, and rewards excellence.</p><br> Responsibilities <br><ul> <br /> <li>Work in an agile software development environment collaborating with engineering team to analyze project requirements to determine effective test strategies for new and existing functionality</li> <br /> <li>Understand how all elements of the application ecosystem work together, evaluate functional and design specifications and develop testing approaches and strategies that fit the overall quality objectives</li> <br /> <li>Design, develop, and document robust test automation class libraries for UI, integrations, API and functional testing of the entire application</li> <br /> <li>Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be aligned with changing requirements and features</li> <br /> <li>Actively participate in functional, system and regression testing of Web, APIs and SaaS based applications</li> <br /> <li>Analyze and report bugs, and work with software engineers to resolve them</li> <br /> <li>Adheres to best practices in testing and automation while continuing to improve the quality and productivity of our testing practices</li> <br /> </ul><br> Qualifications <br><ul type="disc"> <br /> <li>Excellent understanding of software quality principles and processes</li> <br /> <li>Demonstrated experience in analyzing functional requirements and authoring comprehensive testing strategies, test plans for complex application architecture</li> <br /> <li>Automated GUI testing experience with JavaScript testing solutions such as Cypress, Protractor etc</li> <br /> <li>Proficient in functional testing and automation of RESTful APIs</li> <br /> <li>Experience working with build tools such as Maven (Java), npm (JavaScript)</li> <br /> <li>Familiarity with source code management and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, TeamCity</li> <br /> <li>Passionate about analyzing, isolating and solving problems</li> <br /> <li>Experience working in agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban)</li> <br /> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <br /> <li>Experience with testing CRM, SaaS based applications such as Salesforce is a plus</li> <br /> </ul> <br /> <p></p><br> Required Qualifications <br><ul><li id="rq-display-li-6-3-I-G--J-F">A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.</li> <br /> <li id="rq-display-li-2-3-Java">Java</li> <br /> <li id="rq-display-li-2-3-automated_testing">automated testing</li> <br /> </ul>The MathWorks, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
