Due to continued growth, we are in need of a Learning and Development Specialist. </span>The Learning &amp; Development (L&amp;D) team is responsible for working cross-functionally to identify learning gaps in customer experience and solution ways to improve the experience for our employees. As part of the Medline Corporate Learning &amp; Development team, this role will assist the Training Manager in developing and producing classes and programs.</p><div><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Assist Training Manager in developing and producing classes and programs delivered to all levels of Medline manufacturing and operations employees.</p></li><li><p>Own the implementation of a seamless learner’s experience, via scheduling, coordination, and communication of the training calendar.  Organize and prepare all participant materials including handouts, case studies, videos, virtual documents/attachments, emails etc.</p></li><li><p>Use LMS to create and maintain courses. Track and maintain training records, reports, and analytics.</p></li><li><p>Draft effective communications regarding training updates and opportunities for the department or service line.</p></li><li><p>Manage the department's training materials and document library by reviewing, proofreading, editing, and formatting documents.  Update course materials as needed by partnering with SME’s across the company.</p></li><li><p>Assist with training programs effectiveness evaluations via sending surveys to participants, compiling data and producing reporting.</p></li><li><p>Improve, update, and maintain record keeping systems that provides relevant information concerning training content, activities, attendance, training hours and evaluation for L&amp;D team.</p></li><li><p>Support and partner with project teams to develop new training classes.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate in-person training events with field HR team</p></li><li><p>Facilitate training modules as needed.</p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><div><p><span><span><b>Requirements: </b></span></span></p></div><ul><li><p>Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Training and Development or related field</p></li><li><p>At least 2 years of relevant business experience demonstrating exposure to, or responsibility for, learning &amp; development initiatives </p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively present information</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and analytical skills</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action</p></li><li><p>Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style</p></li><li><p>Must work well under pressure with proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction</p></li><li><p>Ability to learn and become proficient in use of company's Learning Management System (LMS)</p></li><li><p>Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite</p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience in manufacturing or operations environment </p></li><li><p>Bilingual Spanish/English</p></li><li><p>Experience demonstrating sound organizational skills, project management, instructional design, and LMS administration skills in developing and/or designing learning solutions </p></li></ul></div></div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Benefits</b> - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
