<p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Summary</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Description</b></p><div><div><div><p><span><span>Develop long-term strategies based on company goals to drive sales, market share growth, and increase gross margin dollars for Medline’s dealer network. <span> </span></span></span><p><span><span> </span></span><p><span><span><b>Responsibilities</b></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Grow Medline's dealer network by presenting new solutions, products, and services to clients.  Work with technical staff and other internal teams to meet customer needs.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Enable new business opportunities through high-touch relationships with nursing homes and hospice customers.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.  Set the prioritization of initiatives and projects.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Negotiate, and close business deals to expand Medline’s dealer network.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Track and record activity on accounts to ensure sales targets are met..</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Oversee Program Managers for all lines of business in Homecare (HME, Home Health and Hospice, Health Plans).</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><u><span>Management responsibilities include: </span></u></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span><span>Typically, manages through multiple Managers.  Provides leadership and management to one or more major departments of an operating unit or to a department that has system-wide accountability.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12 + months) for the function or department;</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs;</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops;</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies;</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.</span></span></span></p></li></ul></li></ul><p></div></div></div><div></div><div><div><div><b>Qualifications </b></div><div><div><span><span><b>Education </b></span></span></div><ul><li><div><span><span><span>Bachelor’s Degree</span></span></span></div></li></ul><p><span><span><span><span><span><b>Relevant Work Experience</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>At least 8 years of sales and/or business development experience.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>At least 4 years of experience directly managing a sales force including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work. </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><b><span> </span></b></span></span><p><span><span><b>Additional</b></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Experience negotiating contracts, prices, conflict resolution and reconciling differences.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience collaborating with both internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience presenting to senior level management and making recommendations on best approach for new business.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Willing to travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes (within state, out of state, international).</span></span></p></li></ul><div><span><span><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></span></span></div><ul><li><p><span><span><span>Sales and/or business development experience in the healthcare industry.</span></span></span></p></li></ul></div></div></div><p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Benefits</b> - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
