<p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Description</b><p><span><span>This Finance Manager role within the Acute Care Commercial FP&A team will work hand-in-hand with finance and commercial leaders to model, analyze and forecast revenue for the entire channel as well as selling expense across the commercial organization. </span></span><br /><span><span>This position will manage 1-2 direct reports and is expected to be a thought-leader amongst other Finance managers.</span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Be a strategic thought partner with senior sales leadership, FP&A VP and Director to set strategy and priorities.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop the forecast models for both revenue and expenses into driver based models, linking business levers to forecasting inputs. Develop multi-dimensional modeling for scenario analysis.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Communicate and interpret financial results and metrics to business partners and the broader finance organization.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Work cross-functionally to interpret business drivers influencing results. Effectively highlight the true business drivers and their sustainability (isolating from one-time events).</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provide decision support for future business planning decisions and investments.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Drive continuous improvement by creating new analysis, innovating on current metrics and reporting. Identify areas for automation to create capacity for analysis and project work.</span></span></p></li></ul><p><b>Requirement </b></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>At least 5 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>At least 2 years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience contributing to strategic decision making and goal setting initiatives.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</span></span></p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience developing forecast models.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience working with large data sets.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience with Model Building.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Familiarity in SAP and Oracle.</span></span></p></li></ul><p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Benefits</b> - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
