Continuous Improvement Specialist

<p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Summary</b></p>Supports, develops, implements and sustains process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Deliver long-term, high impact results. Influences a culture of Continuous Improvement within the Quality Division, engaging employees to improve their processes and overall internal and external customer satisfaction.<p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Description</b></p><h2><b>Responsibilities: </b></h2><ul><li><h2>Support all continuous and process improvement efforts from idea generation, data collection, implementation and benefit realization.</h2></li><li><h2>Act as a change agent and ensure continuous improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization.</h2></li><li><h2>Apply effective controls, ensuring process improvements are sustained.</h2></li><li><h2>Coach and communicate with others as needed, for successful and timely completion of assigned work.</h2></li><li><h2>Assist in designing new procedures and methods for processes, by utilizing lean methodology and tools.</h2></li><li><h2>Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in both corporate and manufacturing environments.</h2></li><li><h2>Assist in the development and facilitation of training</h2></li><li><h2>Perform other duties as may be assigned.</h2></li><li><h2></h2></li></ul><h2><b>Qualifications:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Bachelor’s Degree.</h2></li><li><h2>Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.</h2></li><li><h2>At least 2 years of successful execution of continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma efforts.</h2></li><li><h2>High aptitude for problem solving and analytical thinking</h2></li><li><h2>Highly organized, motivated to successfully meet or beat deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task</h2></li><li><h2>Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced environment Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Preferred Qualifications: </b></h2><ul><li><h2>Master’s degree</h2></li><li><h2>Six Sigma Black Belt Certification</h2></li><li><h2>Experience facilitating multi-day kaizen events &amp; workshops with cross-functional teams ranging from manufacturing floor to executive leaders.</h2></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Benefits</b> - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
