Director of Sales-Product Support Specialists

<p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Summary</b></p>Staff and direct the Product Support Specialist team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum sales growth in line with company vision and values.<p>Oversee and manage the development and performance of the Patient Product Specialist program to prepare PSS team members for future roles at the company.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Description</b></p><div><div><div><p>Responsibilities:</p><div><ul></ul></div><div><ul><li>Establish plans and strategies to expand the programs and create a bench for future Sales Organization team members; partner with Sales Leadership to integrate team activities into the overall commercial strategy.</li><li>Create and collaborate with senior management on the development of training and structure of the field sales support programs.</li><li>Maximize PSS resources by directing and prioritizing assignments with Medline’s field sales teams for product conversions and implementations. </li><li>Collaborate with product divisions to establish short- and long-term growth strategies; establish and revise product implementation/evaluation processes.</li><li>Align existing program and product development to commercial strategy; set the sales bag annually based on AGM, sales growth potential, support needed, and team member experience.</li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans.</li><li>Organize and roll out meetings: training bootcamps, National Sales Meeting sessions that align with the strategies set forth annually.</li><li>Report out KPIs on a regular cadence to Sales Leadership and product divisions<p>Management responsibilities include: <br />--Managing people managers; onboarding new leaders and coaching</p>--Direct budgetary responsibility for the departments (headcount return on investment planning, expense management)<br />--Provide continuing education for team members (e.g. interview training, capstone project training)<br />--Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies;<br />--Hire staff, train and develop existing staff, estimate personnel needs, assign work, conduct performance reviews, design effective compensation programs</li></ul></div></div></div></div><div><div><h2><b>Requirements:</b></h2><p>Education</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree. </li></ul><p>Relevant Work Experience</p><ul><li>At least 5 years of sales and/or business development experience.</li><li>At least 2 years people management responsibilities. </li></ul><p>Additional </p><ul><li>Experience collaborating with both internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.</li><li>Experience presenting to and coordinating senior level meetings/trainings, including preparation of agendas, documenting meeting minutes, sending out documents to attendees.</li><li>Experience building and maintaining relationships within and between teams.</li><li>Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state, out of state).</li></ul><h2><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h2><p>Education:</p><ul><li>MBA</li></ul><p>Relevant Work Experience </p><ul><li>Sales and/or business development experience within healthcare industry.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience developing and implementing training programs.</li><li>At least 4 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work. </li></ul></div></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Benefits</b> - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
