G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add an HR administrative Assistant to the team at Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).

 

Title: HR Administrative Assistant

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Shift: Days

Job Type: Full-Time

The HR Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the company.

What does an HR Administrative Assistant do?

· Perform clerical duties as directed.

· Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages, and provide information according to established policies. Greet and direct visitors.

· Answer routine inquiries and draft correspondence.

· Project a positive image and respond courteously to client, staff, and the public inquiries.

· Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)

· Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports, and files as required.

· Must be in proper business attire as directed by company officials, and identification badges must always be visible.

· Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectives.

· Utilize company and client equipment, supplies, and resources conscientiously and cost-effectively.

· Data Entry

· Basic Compliance filing

· Perform other duties as requested.


What skills are required to Join the Team?

· HS Diploma or GED required

· Two (2) Years of HR or Customer Service Experience

· Two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Suites

· Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented approach.

· Typing and filing skills

· Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

· Discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential information.

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Must have reliable transportation and means of communication

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software.

Language Skills:

· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks

· Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public

· Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills

(If you have these additional skills, it’s a bonus!)

· Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and terminology

· Two (2) years of HR Experience

· Bookkeeping and mathematical aptitude

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suites
