LOGISTICS/INVENTORY CONTROL SUPVR

Assist distribution center supervisors, union employees, store associates, and main office associates. Frequent independent judgments are essential. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.<b> Minimum </b><br />- Other High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus two years experience in warehouse distribution; or combination of relevant education and experience with a minimum 18 years of age. <br />- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment<br />- Lift truck certification/license<br />- Valid driver's license<br />- Ability to continue education, as necessary<br />- Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines<br />- Familiarity with retail distribution technical terms and processes<br />- Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects<br />- Accuracy/attention to detail<br />- Ability to operate all warehouse equipment<p><b> Desired </b><br />- Experience directing and participating on project teams<br />- Second language<br />- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker and lansing aisle ranger<br />- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and MAGIC- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service<br />- Accept handbills from stores and buyers<br />- Compile shipping to stores schedule<br />- Maintain all files on the Warehouse Inventory Network system that pertain to aisle ranges and picking information<br />- Respond to concerns from buyers and stores, research and return results<br />- Process reports on overs and shorts from stores<br />- Slot all merchandise<br />- Conduct research on store order cuts<br />- Conduct all inventories<br />- Correct receiving problems<br />- Perform new store setup<br />- Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends<br />- Administer distribution center section of vendor non compliance<br />- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports<br />- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation <img src="https://ars2.equest.com/? response_id=94dd2ad8603693e201ac839ccb3536ed&view" alt=" " width="1" height="1"/>
