We're seeking a part-time or full-time Dental Sterilization Technician, who is detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment. Part-time and full-time schedules: Monday - Friday: 7:45AM - 5:15PM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper disinfection and sterilization of instruments, contributing to clinical efficiency
  • Set up and clean exam or surgery areas, ensuring sanitary conditions
  • Utilize medical disinfecting procedures to sterilize all necessary equipment and document the cleaning process
  • Maintain, clean, and order the sterilization room, ensuring proper tray setups and arrangement of instrument cassettes
  • Utilize sterilization equipment such as autoclaves effectively
  • Monitor operatory supplies and maintain an adequate inventory
  • Handle impressions, pour them up in plaster, and ensure proper labeling and documentation
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate seamless patient care
  • Comply with confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws regarding patient records
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Certified Dental Assistant or DANB Infection Control certifications are a plus
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental setting is preferred
  • Detail-oriented and organized
