Job Description Job Description If you have a class A CDL and are looking for a good paying local job, this may be it! The Shipping and Receiving Handler is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the
Warehouse, order fulfillment, receiving materials, and directing transporters of materials.
This person would also be responsible for on-site semi trailer shuttling during absence of
regular shuttle drive.
This is a role for someone who is highly organized with the ability to handle a constant flow of
items coming in and out. The Shipping and Receiving Handler must easily adapt to changes in
the order plan as needed. This role requires control of and accurate reporting of inventory and
accuracy for orders being shipped to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing the shipments according to orders and help with loading the
outgoing items on trucks.
Communicate with Warehouse and Inventory Manager, Planning, and Operations to
align work schedule with operations plans.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of supplies and products.
Follow the safety protocols for workers and equipment.
Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory.
Communicate with team members to determine the incoming and outgoing times of the
new items, while efficiently managing space and inventory.
Manage the reception of goods that will be stored in the warehouse.
Coordinate the movement of trailers and onsite storage to prevent product loss.
Implements daily production and shipping plan.
Operates forklift to move product and materials.
