<br /><b>Cambrex</b><br /><br /><br /><b>Director, Project Management</b><br /><br />US-IA-Charles City<br /><br /><b>Job ID:</b> 2024-3760<br /><b>Type:</b> Regular Full-Time<br /><b># of Openings:</b> 1<br /><b>Category:</b> R&D, Project Management<br />Cambrex - Charles City<br /><br /><b>Overview</b><br /><br /><p><span>The<strong> Director, Project Management</strong> is responsible for leadership of the Project Management function, including management of a team of experienced Project Managers and oversight of all product development activities at Cambrex Charles City (CCC)</span></p><br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul><li><span>Promote a customer centric Project Management function to provide an outstanding customer service experience for CCC customers</span></li><li><span>Provide high level customer service by </span><span>anticipating Clients’ needs by effectively managing information, stakeholders’ needs, and following through with challenges’ resolution</span></li><li><span>Lead, motivate, mentor and manage the Project Management team through complex, critical customer-based projects</span></li><li><span>Drive accountability, advancement of Project Management systems and initiatives at the site and oversee efficient utilization of PM resources</span></li><li><span>Plan and effectively support execution of projects on time/on budget</span></li><li><span>Lead and manage individual projects including financials, timelines, sourcing, team dynamics, and customer service.</span></li><li><span>Organize and coordinate multi-disciplinary/cross-functional teams for all product development initiatives and activities</span></li><li><span>Maintain effective, positive communication with coworkers, customers, management, and outside sales representatives</span></li><li><span>Promote collaboration and e</span><span>stablish partnerships based on trust, and cohesion with peers and colleagues within the organization</span></li><li><span>Serve as liaison between Sales, Finance, Business Development, Sr. Leadership and Management teams, for communicating expectations and delivering results.</span></li><li><span>Evaluate new business opportunities, including detailed cost analysis</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span>All employees are required to adhere to DEA, EPA, FDA and cGMP regulations as they relate to the operation of the Company; and to adhere to all company safety rules and procedures. Other duties relating to departmental mission, not specifically detailed in this section may be assigned.</span></p><br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br /><p> </p><ul><li><span>Advanced degree in a scientific related discipline, including Master, PhD degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, etc</span></li><li><span>At least five (5) years’ experience in a Project Management leadership role within the pharma industry</span></li><li><span>Extended experience with overall management of and responsibility for product development project teams and activities</span></li><li><span>Excellent project management skills with high attention to detail</span></li><li><span>Broad experience with direct customer contact and relationship management</span></li><li><span>Understanding of business plans and financial impact</span></li><li><span>Skilled in managing multi-disciplinary teams</span></li><li><span>Experience and ability to lead and motivate others</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication skills</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with cGMP regulations</span></li><li><span>Windows based computer knowledge</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span>Cambrex Charles City offers an extraordinary opportunity, a competitive salary, and an exceptional benefits package including medical, dental, vision care and prescription, life, LTD, STD; 401(k) with employer match; tuition reimbursement; and the ‘Arthur I.
