We are looking for an <strong>RV Resort General Manager</strong> who has just the<br><br>right balance of revenue management, sales skills and a real knack for great customer service. You will oversee and direct the day-to-day operations for one of our largest RV resorts. This is a very guest-services oriented role. You will also have some sales and marketing duties to maximize occupancy. If you like the idea of helping to build and maintain a first-class RV resort community and you have the qualifications and background we're looking for, we want to talk with you!<br><br><strong>OVERVIEW</strong><br><br>As an RV Resort General Manager, you'll be responsible for the operational and continued profitability of the resort and serve as the day-to-day point of contact for guests. You'll be on-call 24 hours/day and will be in charge of everything from administrative activities, marketing, and leasing, to property maintenance, human resources and guest relations. <br><br><strong>JOB DUTIES</strong><br><br>1. Lead department heads to achieve their budget segments to produce monthly, quarterly and annual NOI.<br><br>2. Daily review of revenue streams including RV transient sites, permanent sites, vacation<br><br>rentals, food and beverage revenue, activities, homes sales and the wellness center.<br><br>3. Ensure guests receive the highest levels of service<br><br>4. Handle and resolve escalated guest complaints, inquiries and issues.<br><br>5. Work with marketing team to increase reservations and occupancy and further promote the<br><br>resorts brand.<br><br>6. Ensure customers/guests receive a high level of service.<br><br>7. Oversee team member selection, training, scheduling and development and ensure all team<br><br>members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.<br><br>8. Enforce resort rules and regulations.<br><br>9. Monitor monthly operating budgets and prepare monthly explanation of P&L variances.<br><br>10. Ensure compliance with the federal, state and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws<br><br>and resort operations.<br><br>11. Oversee capital expenditure improvements.<br><br>12. Other duties and special projects as assigned<br><br><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong><br><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field, preferred</li><li>3 years property/resort management experience, preferred</li><li>Previous sales and leasing experience, preferred</li><li>General knowledge of maintenance</li><li>Solid negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Working knowledge of basic accounting principles</li><li>Basic computer proficiency including email, internet and Microsoft Office Suite; experience using Rent Manager and/or CampSpot, preferred</li><li>Flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours</li></ul><br><strong>BENEFITS</strong><br><br>At Rivers Rest, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
