Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will support the Veterinarian, provide excellent care to our patients, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Veterinarian with evaluations and procedures
- Perform initial evaluations, clean and treat wounds, and check vitals
- Collect samples, conduct lab work, and administer medications
- Restrain pets safely and comfortably
- Assist at the front desk and keep exam rooms clean and stocked
Qualifications:
- Veterinary Technician License or 3+ years of experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Veterinary Medicine education is a plus
- Experience in a veterinary environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and veterinary software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Working Conditions:
- May require evening and weekend shifts
- Pay starting at $19/hour
- Physically demanding; standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
