Cardiovascular Sonographer
Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at LifeBridge Health, one of the largest healthcare providers in Maryland. We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiographic ultrasound imaging procedures and sonographic images and measurements for pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiographic procedures, including transthoracic, transesophageal, exercise stress echo, and Dobutamine stress echo.
- Verify patient identification and examination order prior to performance of the procedure.
- Prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures.
- Assist during TAVR and LAAO structural heart procedures.
Requirements:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer within 6 months.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer within 6 months.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Education and Experience:
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) with knowledge of a specialized field.
- 1-3 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography.
