Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter-from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.<br> <br>Production 2B Relief. <br> <br> <b>Duties include but are not limited to:</b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Must be able to CIP all equipment.</li> <li>Must be able to read and write in English.</li> <li>Monitor DMC, Production and CIP.</li> <li>Check acids and P.H. of curd at the back of DMC, and at cutting as necessary.</li> <li>Record all information on make sheets.</li> <li>Keep DMC area, or any area worked in clean and sanitary.</li> <li>Monitor amount of salt required for each vat to cooker.</li> <li>Monitor cook temperature, auger speed, and cheese temperature.</li> <li>Learn to operate CEM in the lab.</li> <li>Record all information on make sheet. (Cheesemaker)</li> <li>Monitor cook temperatures. (Cheesemaker)</li> <li>Have rennet and calcium set up for the following shift. (Cheesemaker)</li> <li>Clean and maintain work area regarding housekeeping.</li> <li>Keep equipment clean and sanitary.</li> <li>Follow all safety rules.</li> <li>Completion of starter records.</li> <li>Able to lift 60 pounds; Able to move 55-gallon containers of chemicals.</li> <li>Change worn out gaskets and repair leaky valves.</li> <li>Keep RMC clean as per standard operating procedure.</li></ul> <ul> <li>Able to change forms on RMC in a reasonable amount of time, as not to hinder production.</li> <li>Check salinity, brine temperature and cheese temperature at the beginning of each vat to be packed.</li> <li>Maintain brine salinity at 94%.</li> <li>Keep track of vats coming out of cooker and vats in brine room.</li> <li>Inventory Cultures.</li> <li>Must be forklift certified.</li> <li>Completion of starter make sheet.</li> <li>Pull samples for the lab.</li> <li>Must be able to use a microscope.</li> <li>Maintain raw materials in the starter area.</li> <li>Must be able to run Secondary Starter Pasteurizer.</li> <li>Assist with production needs.</li> <li>Must be able to take and pass a Pasteurizer test given by the State Inspector.</li> <li>Must be able to cross train and master other jobs as assigned.</li> <li>Monitor and CIP the brine & milk UF.</li> <li>Clean and change out fine saver filters.</li> <li>Must be able to perform cheese maker responsibilities; production and CIP.</li> <li>Must be able to perform starter maker responsibilities; production and CIP.</li> <li>Must be able to perform DMC CIP.</li> <li>Must be able to perform RMC/DMC responsibilities; production and CIP</li> <li>Work in cooperation with Maintenance department to diagnose equipment failures/issues. This should entail communicating any knowledge of the equipment that will assist Maintenance Technicians with diagnosing the failure/issue.</li> <li>Must be able to perform SAP functions in the SAP system.</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining food safety and quality.</li> <li>Any other duties as required or assigned.</li></ul>Pay rate $23.40<br> <br>Saputo is among the top three cheese producers in the USA and one of the largest producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products.
