A Custom Carpentry Associate is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of quality custom products designed by our exhibit design department. Qualified applicants must be able to read blueprints, have knowledge of carpentry assembly, laminating, plastics/acrylics, and be able to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to work as scheduled and on time
  • Completes all work in an efficient manner
  • Experience using the following pieces of equipment: forklift, table saws, power tools, hand tools
  • Notifies management of need for materials and supplies
  • Communicates with management to clarify work order information and to relay results
  • Reads blue prints
  • Represents Communication Exhibits Inc. in a professional manner
  • Responsible for offsite work
  • Performs other duties as necessary
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines

Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One-year related experience and/or training;
  • Or, equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Build from blueprint or schematic
  • Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of internal project management software and/or the ability to learn internal software systems
