Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation-driven company that will inspire you and empower you to shine? Join us as the Director, Contracts & Pricing (C&P) Strategy, Insights & Solutionsin Exton, PA. This position reports into the Vice President, Contracts and Pricing.

How You Will Contribute

Develop and lead the creation of post-deal analytics and adherence initiatives for all channels in the USBU (e.g., Payer, GPO, IDN, trade, etc.) and provide quantitative analytical support to VP, Contracts & Pricing (C&P), Senior Director of Government Pricing, and Director of Reimbursement. Ensure all utilization processed by C&P is accurately captured by both Controller, for Gross to Net (GTN) accruals, and Price Forecasting Team, for business cases and planning (e.g., MRP, LBE, MYC and LRF).

Manage data quality, standards and guidelines; ensure data management governance within Contracts & Pricing systems to maintain data integrity and integration into Takeda’s DD&T initiatives (AI, Enterprise Data Backbone, Anaplan, master data management, etc.).

Work closely with the BUs and Managed Market leadership to monitor market conditions and changes in laws/regulations and educate C&P and Finance Business Partners on the implications of any such changes; Ensure Takeda’s strategies are operationally feasible and can effectively be executed by Contracts and Pricing.

Partner with commercial leaders (VPs and Directors) in the development of contract, pricing and rebate strategies that achieve favorable economic and strategic terms

Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Managed Markets and Value Strategy Leads to assess industry behaviors, legal rulings and government directives that may impacts contractual and reporting obligations

Lead cross functional projects (FMV valuations, legal entity standardization) to ensure consistency across channels and business units and incorporate legal, financial and customer implications.

Oversee and manage the development and implementation of reporting in order to track performance, commitment and customers adherence. Execute on high priority AI enterprise level initiatives and influence both Contracts & Pricing and the broader USBU to drive the evaluation and implementation of Takeda’s AI strategies.

Expand Contracts and Pricing’s use of cutting edge technologies and solutions by leveraging DD&T, third party providers and industry experts.

Represent C&P interest in Takeda’s overall technical initiatives that utilize Contracts and Pricing’s data, policies and resources Possess an in-depth industry knowledge and educate/influence business partners in Managed Markets, DD&T and the Business Units.

Share best practices across channels and business units to drive desired results from a products, IT, channel and customer perspective.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree minimum requirement, master’s degree preferred.

10+ years of business experience, 5+ years at management level

5+ years of progressive experience in one or more of the following areas: Marketing, Pricing, Contracts, Sales, or Finance in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Experience in drafting and/or managing large volume and high dollar value agreements preferred

An understanding of various buying organizations; commercial, indirect customers, direct customers and government (Medicare Part D, 340B, Medicare Part B)

Strong understanding of Project Management, technology and systems

Proven track record of leading and driving business process transformation and organizational culture change as well as delivering on programs with complex business deliverables

Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry, specifically Managed Markets and Finance; Commercial and Medicare Part D market experience preferred

U.S. Base Salary Range

$169,400.00 – $266,200.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
