Reports To: Senior Vice President

Job Summary: The Senior Club Director is responsible for overseeing the operations of ULBGC Club One to ensure the achievement of the organization's mission and goals. This role involves managing club programs, staff, and budgets, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for youth. The Senior Club Director will lead strategic planning, community outreach, and resource development initiatives to enhance club services and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Provide visionary leadership to club staff and volunteers.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for members.
  • Implement and evaluate club programs to meet the developmental needs of youth.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Program Development and Implementation:
  • Design, implement, and assess youth development programs that promote education, health, character, and leadership.
  • Ensure programs are diverse, inclusive, and aligned with the Boys & Girls Club's mission.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure quality and impact.
Staff Management:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate club staff and volunteers.
  • Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Ensure staff adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the club's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and partnerships.
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with grant funding requirements.
Community Engagement and Partnership:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, and local organizations.
  • Represent the Boys & Girls Club in community meetings, events, and forums.
  • Advocate for youth development issues and promote the club's mission and programs.
Strategic Planning:
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Set goals and objectives to advance the club's mission and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure success.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure the club meets all regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to protect the welfare of members and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with organizational standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a youth-serving organization.
  • Proven track record in program development, staff management, and financial oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in fundraising and resource development.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Boys & Girls Club.
Work Environment:
  • The role requires flexibility, with some weekends needed for programs, events, and meetings.
  • The Senior Club Director will work in both an office environment and in various program settings within the club and community.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and participate in activities for extended periods.
