This role is crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting processes through continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in implementing process improvement projects.
Job Description
The role will be assisting in the delivery of general accounting daily processing and month end closing activities to ensure they are completed in line with business objectives.
Leading the implementation of small to medium projects and supporting the accounting operation on larger initiatives
Documenting and updating process changes to reflect current processes and contributing to continuous improvement
Participating in the development of transition plans
Implementing and training activities for offshore and outsourced teams
Performing in a governance role for outsourced / offshore general accounting operations
Salary/Benefits
$90,000 - $105,000+/year (based on experience)
Up to 10% annual bonus
Requirements
4+ years of experience in accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
Need to have experience driving operation efficiency, leading projects, define process improvements, and implementing improvements
Need to know how to do month-end and year-end and balance sheets
