We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Crop Accounting Analyst. This role is crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting processes through continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in implementing process improvement projects.
Job Description
Support various types of general and/or sub-ledger transactions relevant for Group reporting as well and local GAAP reporting
Maintain one or more ledger categories/chart of accounts as a regular part of daily work
Perform and review SOX controls in line with Group internal guidelines
Processes moderate to complex transactions and related activities and able to communicate/document financial statement impacts to management
Prepares and reviews complex reconciliations and clears all open items. Processes complex transactions and related activities, including complex collections and settlements
Prepares and reviews financial reports and finds and corrects errors
Salary/Benefits
$100,000 - $120,000+/year (based on experience)
Up to 15% annual bonus
Requirements
8+ years of experience in accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
Need to have crop insurance experience
Need to have experience driving operation efficiency, leading projects, define process improvements, and implementing improvements
Need to know how to do month-end and year-end and balance sheets
CPA a plus!
