For more information please contact us here at Medical Solutions. Job Requirements Night ICU RN's. Open Heart Trained. Schedule Information 13 Weeks, Every other Weekend/Holiday. Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630. Weekend Requirements: Every other. Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group. Self scheduling for core staff, travelers added in. Unable to guarantee block scheduling. Unit Specific Information of Beds: 33 beds, average daily census is 16 Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for Peds Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Pediatrics, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress Are RNs required to titrate drips? : Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? : Nasal cannula to vent Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? : Health Support Tech M-F 0800-1630 Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? : RNs required to read and interpret Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? : 3 shifts Additional Details Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
