Transporter - Inpatient Rehab

Shift Hours: Part-Time, 8:00AM - 1:00PM (Monday - Friday)

(Weekdays Only)

Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, a Transporter provides escort and/or elevator (as applicable) services to patients and assists with direct patient care on nursing units.

Transports patients via wheelchair or stretcher, to appointments, procedures, therapy sessions, and group activities.

Assists with meal services on the nursing units as directed.
Operates elevators for use by patients (as applicable).
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Experience

One or more years of hospital experience preferred.
