<strong>Job Overview:</strong><br><br>Under direct supervision, the Technical Support Engineer performs a variety of routine support activities in the technical support function. This role acts as a technical liaison, providing troubleshooting and repair support to field engineers, technicians, and customers.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Provide technical troubleshooting and repair support for company field engineers, technicians, and customers.</li><li>Assess and respond to situations where standard procedures have failed to isolate or fix problem equipment or software.</li><li>Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to the engineering team.</li><li>Assist the Sales Manager and dealers with price quotes, technical questions, and product demonstrations.</li><li>Coordinate with Sales, Material Control, and Quality Control on customer queries.</li><li>Collect background data (cost, order history, etc.) to assist in large order negotiations.</li><li>Maintain competitive literature and pricing files for ready reference.</li><li>Write application notes.</li><li>Assist with touchscreen product return testing and analysis.</li></ul><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br><br>Must have an Engineering Degree in one of the following fields:<br><ol><li>Electrical Engineering</li><li>Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Industrial Engineering</li></ol><ul><li>Open to new graduates with degrees in electrical/electronics engineering.</li><li>Experience with Ladder Logic is a significant plus.</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting PLCs, displays/interfaces, sensors, batteries, and wiring diagrams.</li></ul>
