Automotive BDC Manager Responsibilities
The Automotive Sales BDC Manager is responsible for overseeing and handling inbound and outbound communication as it relates to BDC Sales Department.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all BDC Sales Department personnel, as well as monitoring their performance in meeting sales quota
  • Exhibits a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, respectfulness, productivity, and accountability
  • Assumes accountability for teams daily performance metrics in sales and CRM utilization, appointments, and follow up calls
  • Creates goals and objectives for the BDC Sales Department
  • Provides monthly production report of the BDC Sales Department
  • Responds to email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner and disperse emails to appropriate Department Managers as needed
  • Follows up with all clients that are connected to the dealership for business development
  • Ensures Department is compliant with government regulations
  • Manages all other aspects of the BDC Sales Department
  • Follows company safety procedures and policies

Automotive Sales BDC Manager Qualifications
  • Individuals employed in this position must be able to stand, sit and mobilize through various dealership work areas (sometimes for extended periods) in connection with their sales and customer and customer service duties
  • Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
  • Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
  • Individuals employed in this position must be able to read, and generally analyze and interpret relevant business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and write reports and general business correspondence.
  • Individuals employed in this position must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
  • Individual employed in this position must possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards
  • Individuals employed in this position must have required factory certifications
