Summary:
Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic, P.S.C. is looking for an experienced Clinical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist our busy orthopaedic practice. LPNs are expected to be compassionate and discreet with excellent organizational skills & perform various office and clinical duties to keep our practice running efficiently. Typical work week is Monday through Friday, weekends off and paid holidays!
Position Duties:
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic
  • Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality
  • Accurately and promptly document patient health information (PHI), vital signs, risk factors, disease condition, and information on chief complaint
  • Administer prescribed treatment, interventions, and medications according to care plan
  • Monitor and document treatment progress
  • Refers to and consults with physicians and health care providers to prevent and/or resolve problems and/or concerns
  • Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions
  • Participate in interdepartmental teams to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education, Licens es and Qualifications:
Required:
  • LPN certificate from an approved practical nursing program
  • Current and unrestricted LPN license for the State of Washington
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current immunization record
  • Current HIV/AIDS education training
  • Current WA State approved suicide training
Preferred:
  • Minimum (1) year of LPN experience
  • Orthopaedic clinical nursing experience
