Job Summary
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray examinations to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. This position may also involve working with more complex modalities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
- Current MRT license in Texas
- Registered Radiology Technologist by ARRT-R
Experience / Knowledge / Skills
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients
Principal Accountabilities
- Perform radiography exams, ensuring compliance with safety procedures
- Enter and monitor patient data
- Conduct quality assurance on radiology equipment
- Assist with ACR and other accreditations
- Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions
- Take departmental emergency call and work weekends
- May administer breath alcohol test and/or urine drug screens
- Perform patient registration tasks
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and standards
- Participate in professional development and growth
- Demonstrate commitment to creating compassionate and personalized experiences
- Other duties as assigned
