Junior Computer User Support Specialist Job Title Junior Computer User Support Specialist Job ID 27560349 Location COLORADO SPRINGS, 80920 Other Location Description Lentech is seeking a Junior Computer User Support Specialist to join our team. Qualified candidate will provide support work remotely on a GSA contract. Candidate must be a service-oriented and self-motivated professional. In this role, you will work on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.? Security Clearance: Currently holds or ability to obtain a DoD Public Trust Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure software and computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot ticket and resolve user problems.
  • Open trouble tickets to track and resolve user problems
  • Provide phone, remote, technical support to users in the areas of email directories, standard MS Windows desktop applications and network connectivity.
  • Walk users through steps to help them resolve their technical problems.
  • Interact daily with customers to ensure productivity
  • Provide feedback, and responsible for scheduling and coordinating training activities.
  • Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.
  • Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
  • Participate in business-wide meetings, provide insight into technical requirements.
  • Provide on-call support. Qualifications:
  • Associates or bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Certifications are preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
  • Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion.
  • Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
