Pay Rate: $20.50 / hour Expected timeframe to fill position: 06/30/2024 Job Summary: The role of the Production Supervisor is to assist the Production Manager with the daily functions of the production department. This role ensures production goals laid out by Production management are being met. The production supervisors are delegated tasks from the Production manager. Specific job responsibilities include the following but are not limited to: Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for dispensing material to be processed.Assists the production manager with harvests and recording harvest dataAssists the production manager with new employee trainingDaily coaching/training of production employeesMaintains quality standardsEnsures sanitation and cleanliness standards are being followed and maintained by the production teamThe production supervisor will work with the production crew during down timeOther duties and projects as assigned by management, both in MA &amp; CO Essential Job Functions Must qualify for the use of a full-face respiratorMust be able to complete repetitive fine motor movementsMust be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, open, close, lift, or otherwise work with your hand(s) to manipulate packaging, products, and pruning equipment repetitively throughout a 10hr shift.Must be able to work in an environment with high noise and high light intensityMust be comfortable using provided PPE such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary. Job Requirements (Education and Experience) High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 years experience in the Cannabis industryGenuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industry Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Must pass a background check in order to obtain an RMD Agent card through Cannabis Control CommissionProficient in G Suite and Apple OSAbility to work effectively across departmentsExcellent oral and written communication, prioritization and problem-solving skillsExperience in building new teams and proliferating company cultureProven attention to detail and organization skillsSelf-starter, Self-motivated, Positive AttitudeMultitaskerAbility to work with and train othersSense of urgency Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position that requires but is not limited to, 40 hours per week. This position is expected to work at least 15 minutes prior and 15 minutes post production teams shift to ensure daily set up and take down. This position can be required to work on weekends and holidays. This position requires excellent attendance and reliable transportation. Must be able to work at all processing facilities. Additional Requirements: Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push, move up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with mechanical assistance)Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching; and must be able to use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch, frequently/constantly to complete tasksMust be able to handle plant matter daily, and be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)Ability to visually identify product health issues, safety hazards, and signageAbility to use a ladder up to 12 feet high Physical Requirements: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. All jobs require daily use of provided PPE such as masks, hair nets, bear covers, respirators, boot covers, hearing protection, aprons, gloves, Tyvek suits, and goggles/eye protection, as necessary. The employee must be able to work in spaces with exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to, air compressors, packaging equipment, alarms, and other machinery. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an environment suited for the plants optimal performance and not necessarily the employees comfort.
