Pay Rate $17.50 - $20 per hour commensurate with education and experience Expected timeframe to fill position: 06/30/2024 Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for the efficient processing and packaging of marijuana flower for our retail stores and wholesale program Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity Adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana being trimmed and packaged, adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality Assist with distribution of packaged products to retail stores Other duties and projects as assigned by management, both in MA & CO Essential Job Functions Must qualify for the use of a full-face respirator Must be able to complete repetitive fine motor movements Must be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, open, close, lift, or otherwise work with your hand(s) to manipulate packaging, products, and pruning equipment repetitively throughout a 8hr shift. Must be able to work in an environment with high noise and high light intensity Must be comfortable using provided PPE such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary. Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Must pass a background check in order to obtain an RMD Agent card through Cannabis Control Commission Genuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industry Ability to work effectively across departments Excellent oral and written communication, prioritization and problem-solving skills Experience in building new teams and proliferating company culture Proven attention to detail and organization skills Must be able to work well with others as well as independently Must be able to maintain accuracy and consistency in trimming and packaging Must be able to follow basic instructions Knowledge of cannabis weights, industry products, strain classifications, genetics, and compliance Must be able to take constructive criticism from managers to maintain quality standards and production goals Must show up on time, ready to work and maintain a standard of personal hygiene for processing marijuana flower Ability to focus and stay on task for long periods of time Additional Requirements: Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push, move up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with mechanical assistance) Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching; and must be able to use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch, frequently/constantly to complete tasks Must be able to handle plant matter daily, and be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE") as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection) Physical Requirements: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
