Production Supervisor

We are looking for a production supervisor to grow with the company and apply already established manufacturing practices as well as develop new standards as they see fit. The following is a list of responsibilities of this role:

• Relay the instructions and the policy of the Plant Manager to operators and warehouse personnel
• Participate in the development of the manufacturing plan to implement and adapt it, if necessary.
• Guarantee the quality of the products manufactured.
• Ensure control of the non-compliant product.
• Enforce and respect the different rules of operation.
• Organize product flows between warehouses and the production floor.
• To make the final decision on the approval or rejection of produced parts if the responsibility is delegated by the Quality Lead or Management.
• Report any anomalies, observed or potential.
• Contribute to continuous improvement.
• To respect the charters, procedures and rules applicable, set up within the framework of the organization.
• Ensure compliance of the rules of personal hygiene and good practices by the operators.
• Respect the rules defined for emergency situations.
• Make sure raw material used is approved material. (approved by quality)
• To enforce the environmental laws: waste management, ....
• Enforce the equipment safety instructions, including the rules of conduct for the respect of people and property.
• Relay information to colleagues, the plant manager, and corporate management.
• Learn and be able to use the computer programs essential to perform job functions
• Enforce instructions of management
• Respect good hygiene practices
• Respect the principles of prevention of emergencies
• Anticipate and plan resources on short and long term basis

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of sources of contamination of products during manufacturing
• Know how to motivate a manufacturing team
