We're a 2nd generation plumbing business that specializes in both Residential and Commercial construction. Family owned and operated, we are a small, young and growing team doing mostly higher-end homes and restaurants.


We have tons of work, and need Plumbers with at least 2-3 years of experience to come join our team! The job sites will mostly be in Wayne County, MI - primarily in Grosse Pointe and Downtown Detroit. These are stable positions with a long-established company - direct hire, W2, nothing temporary or short term here. We're looking for people who are ready to join a great team of plumbers and stick around for years to come.


You'll be expected to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining plumbing infrastructure. Most of the job will be new construction or substantial remolds, both roughing in and finishing all kinds of plumbing infrastructure. We expect candidates to have at least some experience in a decent range of systems, fixtures and environments.


Our schedule is generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends completely optional. A company van/truck could be provided to a qualified, proven employee.


The ideal candidate can:

  • Execute plans for both rough and finish plumbing
  • Be versatile enough to work in Residential and Commercial projects
  • Adhere to any prescribed OSHA, MIOSHA and Company procedures, guidelines and standards
  • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions, and then make the necessary repairs and modifications
  • Transportation of yourself to and from job site each day, 5 days a week, in a reliable and on time manner
  • Bring and maintain your own supply of the appropriate & necessary hand tools and power tools


Skills

  • Proven experience as a Plumber - You do not need to have a journeyman card, but at least 2 years of full time, on the job experience is expected.
  • Experience specifically in commercial (especially restaurant) setups is helpful
  • Demonstrable ability to both use electrical and hand tools and interpret modern drawings and blueprints
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
  • Good physical condition, ability to work 40 hrs per week, be on your feet 8 hrs/day, lift 50 lbs, work at heights, maneuver ladders safely and securely.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
