Overview: AARP Services, Inc., founded in 1999, is a wholly-owned taxable subsidiary of AARP. AARP Services manages the provider relationships for and performs quality control oversight of the wide range of products and services that carry the AARP name and are made available by independent providers as benefits to AARPs millions of members. The provider offers currently span health products, financial products, travel and leisure products, and life event services. Specific products include Medicare supplemental insurance; credit cards, auto and home, mobile home and motorcycle insurance, life insurance and annuities; member discounts on rental cars, cruises, vacation packages and lodging; special offers on technology and gifts; pharmacy services and legal services. AARP Services also engages in new product development activities for AARP and provides certain consulting services to outside companies.

As the Market Research Analyst for the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Team at AARP Services, Inc., you will analyze and present market research findings, providing actionable insights that drive business strategies and product enhancements and development. You will assess market trends, financial performance, business models, and competitive intelligence, translating this data into strategic recommendations. This role involves collaborating with the team and management to identify new business opportunities and streamline market insights processes. Responsibilities: Supports deliverables for the organization and/or internal clients and providers, including lines of business, emerging business/business development, and customer support (CSG/CX). Develops and supports the overall research plan/agenda for the portfolio of work and develops and manages specific project work plans. Updates clients, stakeholders, and senior management on all phases of research, from conceptualization to recommendations for research methodology/use of secondary research resources, to recommendations for action growing from the research findings. Selects and produces reports using the most appropriate data sources or data collection methods that maximize the value and utility of the research across the organization and with the goal of building and aggregating a base of knowledge around their issues.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required preferably in a related field such as business management or finance. 1+ years of experience in financial analysis and market research. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in financial modeling preferred. AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time.
