Job Description: The Front Desk Supervisor manages daily front desk and guest services operations.
General Responsibilities Include:
-Check list and daily front desk report completion
-Check in and check out of guests
- PBX operations,
-Supervising bell operations, guest service agents, and overall customer care
-New hire training and associate re-training
-Upholding proper front desk procedures
-Established brand standards
-Front desk projects and assignments
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and/ or Managers.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must have prior experience as a front desk agent and be able to show a solid background in customer service and knowledge of hotel front desk operations.
- Good communication and computer skills.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Must be able to effectively lead small teams of associates
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work morning, mid and night shifts, weekday shifts, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to four (4) hours.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Qualification Standards:
Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Luxury Brand and Boutique Hotel experience preferred.
Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
