<strong>Job Title:</strong> OST Program Coordinator<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Fort Morgan, CO (3 sites) and Brush, CO (1 site)<br><br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time<br><br><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $50,000 - $60,000 per year<br><br><strong>Benefits:</strong> Comprehensive benefits package included, including a flexible work schedule<br><br><strong>Overview:</strong> We are seeking a dynamic and innovative OST (Out-of-School Time) Program Coordinator to oversee four afterschool sites in Fort Morgan (3 sites) and Brush (1 site). The primary goal of this position is to enhance math and science skills among students through engaging and community-focused programming, ultimately improving CMAS scores across the county.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Oversee and manage OST programming at four afterschool sites, ensuring the delivery of 10 hours of math and science instruction per week.</li><li>Develop and implement creative and effective educational strategies to increase students' math and science proficiency.</li><li>Hire, train, and supervise a team of at least 20 part-time employees, including high school and college students, providing necessary training and professional development.</li><li>Work with KATB's diverse staff in a fast-paced office environment.</li><li>Coordinate quarterly family nights to engage families, including those who may be non-English speaking, emphasizing the importance of math and science education at home.</li><li>Foster a fun, inclusive, and community-oriented environment that encourages student participation and learning.</li><li>Collaborate with local schools and community organizations to support program goals and initiatives.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, using data to make informed decisions and improvements.</li><li>Maintain quarterly reports in the GAINS system.</li><li>Manage grant funds and prepare reimbursement materials.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.</li></ul><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Education, Program Management, or a related field.</li><li>Strong knowledge of educational systems and curriculum development, particularly in math and science.</li><li>Proven ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to educational challenges.</li><li>Experience in hiring, training, and managing staff, preferably within an educational or youth development setting.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations and foster a positive community atmosphere.</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Bilingual (Spanish/Somali) is preferred.</li></ul><br><strong>Application Instructions:</strong> Interested candidates should submit their resume, cover letter, and references to Jodi. walker@kidsattheirbest.org by June 22, 2024.<br><br>We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
